You’re invited to “Try before You Buy”. Attend a FREE Sample Social Dance Class on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 7 to 8:00 p.m. and see how you like it. If you do, you can officially register for the 9 hour class and pay the tuition at the end of the evening.

Beginning Saturday, June 1st, Burgie Crandall’s Lets Dance Band, will begin playing at Farnsworth Hall. Fransworth is located at Dreamland Villa, 6159 E University Dr, in Mesa. That is just east of Recker, on the south side of University.
There will be a free lesson during intermission, cost is $7 per person, singles welcome.
I understand that this will be through October, but I have not yet confirmed that with either the Band or Fransworth Hall.
Not in Mesa, but if you can make it to Phoenix tonight, this is a great group of Scouters. They will also be raffling certificates from the likes of Arribas, Rito’s, Carolina’s, Comedor Guadalajara, Someburros, Movie baskets, etc.
Dance calendar has been updated for Granite Reef and the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center for the remainder of 2013.
After the Phoenix DanceSport Competition on March 23rd, Phoenix USA Dance, will be hosting an evening of dancing and perhaps a performance or two.
The dance will be at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center, 7550 W. Adobe, Mesa, AZ. It will be held from 7 to 10pm.
Music will be DJ, with all styles represented, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, Tango and others.
Admission is $5 which will include a Foxtrot lesson by Lonnie Mitchell at the start of the dance.

A free sample class for Fearless Leaders is being offered by Mary Lou Kaye of Learn Social Dancing.
Mary Lou states:
To get a jump start on doing a great job on the dance floor, a Fearless Leaders class was recently created. The man will learn the secrets of being a fantastic dance partner BEFORE he takes a lovely partner in his arms for the first time.
Ladies will not have to fear for their pedicures and will be so impressed with the man who prepared for the Social Dance class in advance…..he will definitely stand out above the crowd.
A man must listen and respond to the music, watch traffic, move smoothly and direct his lady….all on automatic. He learns, assimilates and initiates all of the movement of the dance. Because of his position as the quarterback of this unique team and to present himself with confidence, it’s a good idea if he is ahead of the lady who is also learning to dance.
Once a man knows how to dance, attracting and pleasing women is nearly effortless!
