New Friday Night Dances at Towerpoint

Reign-N-Country, a great country band, has decided to host Friday night dances at Towerpoint, beginning this Friday, May 4th. They will be playing this Friday and next. Other bands will also be playing interspersed with Reign-N-Country.

To see where Reign-N-Country will be playing check the Band Schedules. To see who is playing at Towerpoint check the Dance Calendar. Both can be found in the upper left of this page.

Currently, I don’t have the other bands but will update the Calendar as soon as I get the listing.

This is great news.

See you on the dance floor.

JOHNE’s Cabaret is Moving

Some major changes in JOHNE’s Cabaret dances.

Saturdays:

That’s right, JOHNE’s is moving to Towerpoint beginning Saturday April 7th, with the Danny Kealy Band.

Towerpoint is located on the north side of Main St. at 4860 E. Main. Just behind Taylor Ray’s restaurant.

Any passes you may have had to the dances at Greenfield are no longer valid. So save them as souvenirs.

Dances will be from 7pm to 10pm, $8 per person, and pop/soda will be available for $1.

Johne has also noted that the 90 Year Young’ns will now be admitted for $4. The 50-50 drawing for charities (Sunshine Acres Children’s Home and the Arizona Animal Welfare League No Kill Shelter) will continue on Saturday’s only.

Fridays:

On April 13th, JOHNE’s will be hosting the first Country night at Towerpoint. The two piece band, Favorite Sons, will be playing. The admission will be $5 with pop/soda for sell. This is a trial dance and if there is enough support it will continue.

The admission cost for 90 Year Young’ns will be $4. There will be NO 50-50 drawing.

The schedule for the winter dance is posted to the calendar and under Dancing Schedules.

See you on the dance floor.
