Sunland Village East has decided to host Saturday Night dances. They are located at 2145 S Farnsworth Dr Mesa. 


They are kicking it off with the 4-50’s, a great Doo-Wop and Rock ‘n’ Roll band.

Reign-N-Country

RNC will be at Towerpoint this Friday from 7 to 10pm. This is a great band so come out and enjoy the music.

They have been sponsoring these Friday night dances all summer and plan on having a dinner at the end of the season, October 12th. There will be a sign-up sheet this week for those planning on attending so they can get a good count for the attendance. Remember to purchase the 50/50 tickets, the extra dollars go toward the dinner.

Shiftwork Band

Those of you who missed the dance last night at Towerpoint missed a great band. The Shiftwork Band took over for Reign-N-Country, it seems that Melody and Randy wanted the nignt off just because they got married yesterday. (Congratulations, BTW)

Well, we are glad they rescheduled. Jason and the band were fantastic. This is a band that you’ll want to get out and dance to. Vocals were great, music was wonderful. A great variety. Hope to see more of them.

Once we get their schedule we will get it posted to the calendar.

Towerpoint Resort Saturday Evening – Cancelled

All dances at Towerpoint for this weekend have been cancelled. Hopefully we will be able to dance there next week.

Below is a note I reeiveed from Johne with some alternative suggestions:

We were hoping to have a dance this weekend, but power outages at Towerpoint has prevailed.

No Friday night and No Saturday night dance this weekend, July 20 and July 21st.
We will start up the dances next weekend. Saturday night we will have Danny Kealey Orchestra.

Everyone has been asking where to go???

New Friday Night Dances at Towerpoint

Reign-N-Country, a great country band, has decided to host Friday night dances at Towerpoint, beginning this Friday, May 4th. They will be playing this Friday and next. Other bands will also be playing interspersed with Reign-N-Country.

To see where Reign-N-Country will be playing check the Band Schedules. To see who is playing at Towerpoint check the Dance Calendar. Both can be found in the upper left of this page.

Currently, I don’t have the other bands but will update the Calendar as soon as I get the listing.

This is great news.

Thursday night they will be at Sunlife Resort from 7-10.  Located on University just west of Higley in Mesa.

Friday is at the VFW in Apache Junction from 5-9, located on Phelps Dr. behind the Pizza hut.

Saturday is a double, first at Sunlife Resort from 4-6 . You can purchase tickets for the rib dinner, and listen and dance to Reign-N-Country on the patio. Call for more info:480-981-9500.

Saturday from 7-10, they will be at the Good Life Resort located on Main, just west of Val Vista Dr. in Mesa.

Monday is at Valle del Oro from 5-7. It is located on Ellsworth just north of the 60. Weather permitting it will be on the patio.
