New Lesson Opportunity

We’re looking for about 6 or more fun-loving people to join our group Basic Social Dance 101 class that is forming at Mesa Spirit RV Resort beginning Monday, November 18, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the activity hall.  The address of the facility is 3020 East Main Street, Mesa   85213.  This is a new program offered by Mesa Spirit and we’d like to get it off to a rousing start.  We need a few more people so that the special low introductory rate for group classes can be put into effect ….. the minimum number of participants to qualify for a group rate is 12.

The activity hall has a lovely dance floor which will make your dancing feet very happy.  The intro rate of only $80 makes this a very attractive option to jump start your dancing journey.  Don’t forget, all those holiday parties are just around the corner.

Basic Social Dance Lessons

To all Dancers and Wannabe Dancers,
 
Register for the Winter Dance Session which begins the week of January 9, 2012 and save yourself $15 per person off the tuition of $110 per person.  To qualify for the discounted rate, you simply have to call me by January 3rd and tell me which class you would like to join.
 
Traditionally we’ve had more lead time but as you already know from previous e-mails recently, it’s been an extremely busy time getting the new website up and running before the New Year.  Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Lets Polka

Mary Lou Kaye is hosting a FREE Polka Lesson on Friday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Club, 4331 East McDowell in Phoenix.  The doors to the evening’s event open at 6:00 p.m. and  the lesson will start promptly at 7:00 p.m……it will last one hour.

After the lesson, the DJ will play music for your practice and dancing pleasure.  The very reasonably-priced bar will be open the entire time and sometimes there are munchies available. 

On Saturday and Sunday there will be live music by a polka band from Chicago…..you can get the details at the Club.  There is no entry charge on Friday……the evening is entirely FREE.

Also this weekend there will be polka music offered at the Tempe Oktoberfest which runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Details can be found at Tempe.gov.
